Bedrooms
Château Belvédère offers up to six bedrooms for guests to enjoy, with a variety of arrangements and options to suit your needs. Each room is named after a French wine region and features air conditioning and heating along with stylish modern fixtures and furnishings.
Saint-Émilion
The Château’s largest and most spacious bedroom, Saint-Émilion features a lovely super king-size bed, dressing table and wardrobe, as well as handy under-bed storage.
Fronsac
Located opposite the upstairs terrace area, beautiful Fronsac features a comfy king-size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and under-bed storage.
Pomerol
Pomerol is a gem, featuring a king-size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and under-bed storage, plus stylish built-in shelves. If needed, the bed in Pomerol can be reconfigured as two single beds.
Médoc
This gorgeous, spacious room has its own balcony overlooking the grounds. Médoc is equipped with a super king-size bed as well as a loveseat sofa that can be easily converted into a child’s bed if needed. There’s also a dressing table and wardrobe.
Margaux
Equipped with a single bed and a set of bunk beds, Margaux sleeps three and is designed primarily for kids or teenagers. It features a small table and chair as well as night lamps and funky lighting! The door connecting Margaux and Saint-Émilion can be used or secured depending on your needs.
Sauternes
Thanks to its two sets of bunk beds, Sauternes can accommodate up to four children or teenagers. This cosy room also offers funky light fixtures, a small dressing table and a wardrobe.
Bathrooms
Château Belvédère features four bathrooms: two on the ground floor and two on the first floor, near the bedrooms. One of the ground-floor bathrooms is situated near the Gym and Games Room – handy for freshening up after a hard workout!
Kitchen
Whether you’re preparing a meal or just relaxing with family and friends, you’ll love Château Belvédère’s stunning kitchen, which blends modern styling with authentic vintage elements. Along with sleek high-end appliances, it features a large central island and breakfast bar, as well as a breakfast table. Best of all, the large bifold doors open up to connect the kitchen with the beautiful terrace and gardens, enabling a smooth flow between indoors and out. Even with the doors closed, you’ll enjoy a perfect view over the terrace, gardens and swimming pool. For winter stays, there’s underfloor heating to keep you comfortable.
Utility Room
The spacious utility room adjoins the kitchen and is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and amenities, as well as underfloor heating for the cooler months. In addition to cleaning products and equipment and lots of storage space, you’ll find two washing machines, one of which also has a dryer function. There’s even an extra dishwasher and freezer for when the ones in the kitchen are full!
Dining Room
Château Belvédère’s luxurious dining room features a grand 12-seater dining table, illuminated by two beautiful ‘wine glass’ chandeliers. Equipped with air conditioning and heating, it’s a fantastic space where you and your guests can all sit down and enjoy a meal together if wet or cold weather happens, preventing you from dining on the terrace.
Library
With its gorgeous built-in shelves, comfortable reading chairs and ample natural light from the skylights overhead, Château Belvédère’s well-stocked library is a cool, calm and relaxing space, perfect for losing yourself in a good book. For the winter months, there’s underfloor heating to keep your toes toasting.
Salon
The Château’s elegant and spacious salon features two stylish and comfortable sofas that can seat up to eight adults. The cutting-edge 75-inch TV screen is perfect for streaming new and classic movies and shows on Netflix. Abundant natural light creates a lovely calm atmosphere. There’s air conditioning and heating for when you need them, and for those chilly winter nights, a large open fireplace to keep you warm and cosy.
Vestibule
Château Belvédère’s large vestibule is a magnificent space with beautiful stone tiles leading you deeper into the ground floor or up the sweeping main stairs. Far more than simply a grand entrance hall, it features comfortable seating and a stylish 9ft American pool table and library. Equipped with air conditioning and heating, it’s a terrific place to hang out with friends and enjoy a dram of Scotch or a gin and tonic with a game of pool while your favourite tunes play through the portable blue tooth Sonos speaker. And of course, the vestibule opens directly onto the front steps of the house – another beautiful space to relax in the afternoon or evening sun.
Gym and Games Room
If you want to keep your exercise routine going while visiting Château Belvédère or enjoy a spot of friendly competition, the gym and games room has everything you need (including air conditioning and heating). Work up a sweat on the rowing machine or cross trainer, hit the gym mat to lift some weights, or challenge your fellow guests to a game of table tennis or table football – this room has everything you need for hours of entertainment. There’s even a shower just across the corridor if you need to freshen up when you’re done!
Other Rooms
In addition to the rooms described above, there is also a seventh bedroom and a second dining room. The family uses these rooms to store their personal belongings, so they typically remain locked during rentals. However, if you are a larger party that requires additional space, these rooms may be made available with sufficient notice. Please contact us for further information.
