Gardens & Terraces
Château Belvédère is situated in 12 hectares of vineyards and pastures, also including a large garden, terraces and pool to relax in, including a roof top terrace.

Garden Terrace
Château Belvédère’s raised garden terrace, which overlooks the gardens and swimming pool, is connected to the kitchen by large bifold doors. A large patio with lots of comfortable seating, the terrace also features a dining table long enough to seat 12 guests (or 14 at a squeeze!). It’s the perfect place for outdoor relaxing and dining, and a great spot to sit in the cool shade and watch your fellow guests enjoying the pool and gardens.

Upstairs Terrace
Situated across the corridor from the bedrooms and directly above the kitchen, the upstairs terrace overlooks the garden terrace, as well as the gardens and pool beyond. With comfortable seating for up to eight people, plus glass balustrades ensuring great views of the Château grounds and vineyards, this is a lovely spot to relax with family and friends – one that enjoys both sun and shade in the afternoon, depending on your preference!

Swimming Pool
Surrounded by a spacious stone terrace that features 10 sun loungers and two large parasols, the beautiful swimming pool is 11m x 4.5m. The pool house provides storage for cushions and all the usual pool equipment. If your party includes young children and you’d like to cover the pool at any time for safety reasons, the secure electric pool cover is easy to operate.

Pétanque
Just behind the swimming pool you’ll find a large pétanque court where many a dispute has taken place over whose boule was closest to the cochonnet (aka the jack)!

Children’s Swings
At the far end of the garden, beyond the pétanque court, you’ll find a set of children’s swings, perfect for keeping the little ones entertained. The swings are clearly visible from the kitchen and both terraces, making it easy to keep an eye on your children as they play.

Sauna
Recently installed beside the pool house, our sauna offers you the chance to enjoy a hot session before diving into the pool for a refreshing swim. For security reasons, access to the sauna is subject to advance request.

Gardens and Trails
Over the years, Louis Cavignac planted many different trees on the grounds of the Château. He also established a scenic garden trail that leads down to a small lake at the bottom of the vineyards, perfect for a relaxing stroll spent identifying different trees and wildlife and spotting Louis’ unusual ornaments and garden sculptures.

Escape
At the bottom of the gardens and vineyards, some 300m from the house, you’ll find a small lake (which occasionally hosts the odd beaver!).

The Vineyards
Château Belvédère is surrounded by 12 hectares of wine-producing vineyards. Guests are welcome to explore them – you may even see them being nurtured and tended to by cooperative workers!
